Alex Qian is a travel and adventure-focused photographer based in Chicago, IL - showcasing inspiring perspectives with a bit of a colorful touch through the alias of the Wayfaring Professional.

Alex is a first-generation Chinese-American who recognized his affinity for numbers and data growing up and started his career as a Financial professional. He began traveling in his free-time and started taking photographs as he adventures more. What began as a hobby with a cell-phone has evolved into an arsenal of lenses and his trusty DSLR along with a healthy obsession with the art of photography.

Today he continues to pursue his passion for travel and capturing moments in time with his camera. He hopes to inspire other like minded individuals to think creatively and consider perspectives other than those they were raised with. You can find him on a plane headed on his next adventure or roaming the streets of his hometown of Chicago with his camera in-hand.
