Collection: Carl Chandler

Chandler was a US Army trained Sniper during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was able to transfer his skill of long-distance rifle marksmanship into the art of photography, swapping wind correction for lighting correction. He recalls the time in high school, shooting on film, and developing photos in a dark room. He still enjoys shooting film and has an old Minolta 35mm in this kit. Music has always been a huge part of his life, especially 90’s music and this can be seen in how he names his prints.

Fast-forward to now, he loves discovering Chicago through his camera lens. He wants you to experience the city’s unique architecture through his images. To learn more about Chandler, and to view his other works, check out his Instagram.
